There are a number of considerations when developing an effective web presence - here's how we approach the majority of our projects.

Brainstorms & Site Maps:
 The first step is to decide what functions the website needs to perform at its most basic level, and how you would like your branding to be portrayed. You may want to consider other websites and organisations that you would like to link to, explore the potential for partnerships and sponsoring or simply consider allowing other entities to advertise on the website.
We can then discuss all the extra elements that you may wish to include - from e-commerce to online booking and discussion boards etc. A site map would then be created, detailing all the components and elements that would make up the overall "ideal" website.
Having completed this initial step, we can then split all the elements up into modules to incorporate into the website as time and budget allow. New site maps would be created as required, and this would build up a picture of the scale of the project and the time it will take to complete each stage.
